Fire on the ice – Christmas at the Hafencity Hamburg

The beautiful Christmas market on the Überseeboulevard at the Hafencity Hamburg inspired also in 2017 ist visitors with the huge natural skating rink, Christmassy goodies and many more highlights. Of course our solemn opening show on the ice with laser, snow and fireworks again had to be part of the program.

The 30th of November at 6 in the evening finally the time had come – the Christmas market in the Hafencity opened up. Dr. Claudia Weise from the management of the quarters together with pastor Frank Engelbrecht from the main church St. Katharinen greeted the guests. Two white angles welcomed the invited guests and all other citizens of Hamburg, that gathered around the 240 m² frozen surface, with their magical chants.

Bocatec at the Airbeat One 2017

From 13th to the 16th July 2017 the contemplative city Neustadt-Glewe prepared for one of the biggest events of the German festival scene – the Airbeat-One 2017. Because of 45.000 visitors from 45 nations which pilgered this time to the electronic music festival near Schwerin. For 150 acts from more than 20 nations and of course also for Bocatec and our party laser equipment that meant: “To light up concentrated energy over three days!“

For the team of Bocatec the Airbeat One is almost a home run, nevertheless we are amazed every year again, how the makers are doing it – for 16 years in a row now – to put the party to a new level and always beat the impressions of the prior year. No wonder that year after year more electronic music fans come to Neustadt-Gleve in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to celebrate.

Only the best of the best

The main topic this year on the airfield area was „United States of America“. With an unbelievable 130 meter of width and 45 meter of height the huge main stage rose above the party crowd in shape of the Capitol in Washington D.C, this was perhaps the largest stage ever seen in Germany. This monumental main stage was thus only one of the highlights, that we enlightened with our laser show technics. Another four areas with different American themes attracted the visitors. No matter if Las Vegas, an American Indian world, the bunjee free fall tower, the big wheel, the biggest mobile pool of Europe (1400qm) or tasty burgers at the USA food court, the “American Dream” became true at the AirBeat 2017.

Of course the makers presented also in terms of the line up the best of the best. The top acts were Armin van Buuren, Hardwell and Tiesto. Additionally Emok, Boris Dlugosch, Oliver Heldens, Andy Svge, Liquid Soul, Brennan Heart and many more were on stage. From Goa up to Hardstyle for every taste there was something that fitted. Dances all night, crazy people, booming basses, to this a spectacular laser and pyro show with all special effects that we could dream of – that’s the way we like to work!

We are looking forward to the Airbeat-One festival 2018, that will take place from 11^th to 15^th July and that will guide us to „Great Britain“ this time. Who likes sumtuous stage dessigns, great light shows, mega laser shows and of course a never-ending line up of the top acts aus from the Techno and Elektro scene, should now buy his or her ticket now.

Laser-Pyro-Show at Mercedes Benz family day in Harburg

The 2.500 employees of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bostelbek celebrated in june 2017 with good cause. The whole staff of the plat 68 and their families were invited to the big summer party. The crowning finish of the varied daily program was the genius laser and pyro show of the event specialist Bocatec from Hamburg.

The fireworks of colored, twitching laser beams and exploding fire fountains bursted out from the main stage over the amazed work force of the Harburg plant. Celebrated was the motto „Plant 68 – we build future“, because the plant in Bostelbek will play an important role in the entry of Mercedes into electromobility. Mainly electric rear axles and drive modules should be fabricated there. The giant summer party with live acts as the “Sportfreunde Stiller“ & „Max und Friends“ will for sure be treasured by the employees for a long time and give motivation and courage for the changes.

John Ment, the cult moderator of Radio Hamburg, heated on the crowd and counted down to the final laser show. Accompanied to bombastic music the 6 minute laser and pyro show started with sparkling fire elements. Bocatec also programmed a laser projection of the Mercedes logo, which shined uniquely beautiful like this. The team of Bocatec installed 5 high-power laser projectors and 6 GX-2-Flamer for the fire effects of the mega company event. A Piko 14 laser enabled the sharp logo laser projection. A top-class event, suiting a future-oriented enterprise!

Special effects & laser show at Electric Sea Festival

The 17th of October 2015 the HanseMesse in Rostock trembled for the first time at the Electric Sea Dance Festival. The smaller brother of the big Airbeat-One Festival attracted thousands of party people to come to the biggest hall in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. Together with Music Eggert, GoPlus1 and the light operator Sebastian Heise, Bocatec could set off a lot of fire, pyrotechnics, CO2, confetti and laser to make the crowd uproar.

The decision between the three dance floors wasn’t easy for the dance-crazy people. A total of twenty acts appeared on stage and on the turntables and revived the passed Airbeat-One summer. As headliners the megastar DJs “Fedde Le Grand” and “Moguai”were in the lineup. Another main act – “Headhunterz” made the crowd freak out. But what would the party be without the suiting light effects and a great surrounding show? Only the visual effects send the revelers to a higher party dimension.

Bocatec and other experts on site cared for this. Bocatec brought up the big guns with 40 watt laser equipment for a giant laser show. Pyrotechnics of course was also ready, over 150 pyro effects were shoot by Bocatecin the form of jets, comets and fountains. For fiery sixteen gas projectors produced shiny flame balls and hot flame columns . Fizzy CO2 Power Shots by Magic FX took the cake. For the real festival feeling Bocatec fired masses of confetti and streamer all over the place into the cheering party crown. The confetti stadium shots were fully demanded. Music Eggert cared for the other light effects. Furthermore there was a huge LED screen. That is how event technics rocks: fire up a lot of special effects and celebrate a great show together with the worlds famous DJs.

Multimedia-Show for marriage in Grand Hotel Heiligendamm

Heiligendamm, Germanys oldest seaside resort, is a place for very special occasions. In this white city at the sea the happy couple said „Yes!” and later they presented their guests a top of the line marriage show. Bocatec illuminated the facade of the castle of the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm and staged a dreamlike marriage laser show with fireworks and video projection.

Such a beautiful and outstanding wedding location with style is really predestinated for an overwhelming multimedia show. The casle on the ground of the Grand Hotel in Heiligendamm blazed fantastically and romantically in pink thanks to Bocatec. Butterflies fluttered over the face and atmospheric music got the heyday guests into the right mood for the 7-minute show.
Then the 150 watt laser power started and colored laser beams flickered from the facade towards the spectators. Fanciful and colored laser formations and shapes changed with fervent effects of the12 flame projectors. Above all of this firecrackers rose up into the night sky and creative pyro effects made the crowd marvel. Of course Bocatec also brought enough fog equipment for the zenith event to restage the laser beams right. Several LED outdoor spots set a course. From romantic to party-ready the show music and laser effects varied in order to load up the revelers.
The castle wedding guests and the engaged couple were more than thrilled, the expectations about the “most beautiful day in lifetime” were even outmatched. This dream wedding like from “1000 and one night” will be kept in good memory not only by the bewedded.

Lasershow begeistert 5000 Pferde-Fans!

Die ausverkaufte Ostfrieslandhalle war am 31. Januar 2015 voll besetzt. Fast 5000 Zuschauer freuten sich in Leer über einen Show-Abend der ganz besonderen Art mit Strahlkraft weit über Ostfrieslands Grenzen hinaus. Dieses Jahr war die Lasershow von Bocatec das krönende Highlight der 4-stündigen Mega-Show.

Programm-Mix für Groß und Klein

Das Programm hätte locker auf mehrere Abende verteilt werden können. Der

Galaabend der Pferde

ist jedoch schon seit einigen Jahren ein Event der Extraklasse. Neben Pferdeflüsterer Jean-Francois Pignon trat Tiertrainerin Anne Krüger mit ihren indischen Laufenten auf gefolgt von Einradweltmeister Lutz Eichholz. In klassischer Dressur kamen natürlich auch die Pferde nicht zu kurz. Eine Hunde-Show mit den Space Dogs, ein Puppentheater, eine Pony-Verlosung und Musikeinlagen durften nicht fehlen. Ein wirklich bunter und vollgepackter Abend.

Eingesetztes Material

Mit fast drei Tonnen Material war die Gala auch für Bocatec ein Schwergewicht.

12 RGB-Vollfarblaser

, 4 Highpower Nebelmaschinen, 1 MDG-Hazer, 18 Flamer mit 8m Flammensäulen und diverse Pyrotechnik packten die Veranstaltungstechnik-Profis ein. Movingheads und P5 LED-Fluter, sowie der alles steuernde Phoenix-Showcontroller durften natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Drei Bocatec-Lasertechniker waren mit Aufbau und Show anschließend beschäftigt.

Endlich was für die Jungs!

Die viele Arbeit lohnte sich zum Glück wirklich. Die Gäste waren völlig aus dem Häuschen über die riesige Lasershow, besonders die männlichen Besucher waren begeistert. „Endlich mal etwas Tolles für uns Männer!“ meinte ein zu Tränen gerührter Zuschauer nach der Lasershow. Als Höhepunkt der gesamten Pferdegala wurde Bocatec gelobt. Der Veranstalter von World People hatte solch ein geniales Laserevent nicht erwartet und engagierte Bocatec prompt für das kommende Jahr als Lasershowexperte.

Fireworks and laser show for the Dragon festival

According to the motto “all good rises up” the dragons flew high up into the air at the eleventh international Dragon festival in Melle. As closure procedure Bocatec inspired the 50.000 spectators with a great fireworks and a laser show.

Many families with children came to let their dragons fly, but also huge, creative professional dragons started into the sky. On the whole 892 dragons flew over the sports airport Melle Grönegau e.V.. The dragon sports club Melle “Just stay up” organizes every two years since 1992 the huge dragon event. European and worldwide dragon experts travel there to take part in the event. The closing firework puts a colorful final on the sky.

Bocatec presents the FireDevil

The “FireDevil” now completes the pyrotechnics range of Bocatec and cares for flamy show elements. The 5-fold fan flamer can be controlled via DMX. The flame color can be selected freely.
