Bocatec at the Airbeat One 2017

From 13th to the 16th July 2017 the contemplative city Neustadt-Glewe prepared for one of the biggest events of the German festival scene – the Airbeat-One 2017. Because of 45.000 visitors from 45 nations which pilgered this time to the electronic music festival near Schwerin. For 150 acts from more than 20 nations and of course also for Bocatec and our party laser equipment that meant: “To light up concentrated energy over three days!“

For the team of Bocatec the Airbeat One is almost a home run, nevertheless we are amazed every year again, how the makers are doing it – for 16 years in a row now – to put the party to a new level and always beat the impressions of the prior year. No wonder that year after year more electronic music fans come to Neustadt-Gleve in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to celebrate.

Only the best of the best

The main topic this year on the airfield area was „United States of America“. With an unbelievable 130 meter of width and 45 meter of height the huge main stage rose above the party crowd in shape of the Capitol in Washington D.C, this was perhaps the largest stage ever seen in Germany. This monumental main stage was thus only one of the highlights, that we enlightened with our laser show technics. Another four areas with different American themes attracted the visitors. No matter if Las Vegas, an American Indian world, the bunjee free fall tower, the big wheel, the biggest mobile pool of Europe (1400qm) or tasty burgers at the USA food court, the “American Dream” became true at the AirBeat 2017.

Of course the makers presented also in terms of the line up the best of the best. The top acts were Armin van Buuren, Hardwell and Tiesto. Additionally Emok, Boris Dlugosch, Oliver Heldens, Andy Svge, Liquid Soul, Brennan Heart and many more were on stage. From Goa up to Hardstyle for every taste there was something that fitted. Dances all night, crazy people, booming basses, to this a spectacular laser and pyro show with all special effects that we could dream of – that’s the way we like to work!

We are looking forward to the Airbeat-One festival 2018, that will take place from 11^th to 15^th July and that will guide us to „Great Britain“ this time. Who likes sumtuous stage dessigns, great light shows, mega laser shows and of course a never-ending line up of the top acts aus from the Techno and Elektro scene, should now buy his or her ticket now.

Future Event at City Cube Berlin

In October 2017 more than 1000 top-class customers and retailers gathered in the City Cube Berlin. One of the leading producers of office technology invited his international high-potentials to the “European Leadership Campus” that was expected with curiosity. The impressive program with speeches, future workshops and the high-tech trade show came along with a fulminant show in the evening. Bocatec here realized the suiting elements around projection and light technics.

After so many new impressions during the conference day with the latest trends and future insights that was by far not all of it for the 1000 participants. Also the evening program offered further mind-blowing experiences for the invited guests. The gala dinner with inspiring cuisine took place inside a „Belin Setting“. Bocatec with four RTI Piko 14 cared for huge, highly modern graphic projections, that were shown on walls hat suddenly disappeared and gave view on the new products. Together with cool Hip Hop dancers, a sparkling, human mirror ball and the hot-blooded music band the event technics specialist from Hamburg delivered also an exhilarating Beam Show with 2x 23 Watt RGB. Like this even more magical moments arose for an unforgettable day and successful business partnerships.

Special effects & laser show at Electric Sea Festival

The 17th of October 2015 the HanseMesse in Rostock trembled for the first time at the Electric Sea Dance Festival. The smaller brother of the big Airbeat-One Festival attracted thousands of party people to come to the biggest hall in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. Together with Music Eggert, GoPlus1 and the light operator Sebastian Heise, Bocatec could set off a lot of fire, pyrotechnics, CO2, confetti and laser to make the crowd uproar.

The decision between the three dance floors wasn’t easy for the dance-crazy people. A total of twenty acts appeared on stage and on the turntables and revived the passed Airbeat-One summer. As headliners the megastar DJs “Fedde Le Grand” and “Moguai”were in the lineup. Another main act – “Headhunterz” made the crowd freak out. But what would the party be without the suiting light effects and a great surrounding show? Only the visual effects send the revelers to a higher party dimension.

Bocatec and other experts on site cared for this. Bocatec brought up the big guns with 40 watt laser equipment for a giant laser show. Pyrotechnics of course was also ready, over 150 pyro effects were shoot by Bocatecin the form of jets, comets and fountains. For fiery sixteen gas projectors produced shiny flame balls and hot flame columns . Fizzy CO2 Power Shots by Magic FX took the cake. For the real festival feeling Bocatec fired masses of confetti and streamer all over the place into the cheering party crown. The confetti stadium shots were fully demanded. Music Eggert cared for the other light effects. Furthermore there was a huge LED screen. That is how event technics rocks: fire up a lot of special effects and celebrate a great show together with the worlds famous DJs.

Multimedia-Show for marriage in Grand Hotel Heiligendamm

Heiligendamm, Germanys oldest seaside resort, is a place for very special occasions. In this white city at the sea the happy couple said „Yes!” and later they presented their guests a top of the line marriage show. Bocatec illuminated the facade of the castle of the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm and staged a dreamlike marriage laser show with fireworks and video projection.

Such a beautiful and outstanding wedding location with style is really predestinated for an overwhelming multimedia show. The casle on the ground of the Grand Hotel in Heiligendamm blazed fantastically and romantically in pink thanks to Bocatec. Butterflies fluttered over the face and atmospheric music got the heyday guests into the right mood for the 7-minute show.
Then the 150 watt laser power started and colored laser beams flickered from the facade towards the spectators. Fanciful and colored laser formations and shapes changed with fervent effects of the12 flame projectors. Above all of this firecrackers rose up into the night sky and creative pyro effects made the crowd marvel. Of course Bocatec also brought enough fog equipment for the zenith event to restage the laser beams right. Several LED outdoor spots set a course. From romantic to party-ready the show music and laser effects varied in order to load up the revelers.
The castle wedding guests and the engaged couple were more than thrilled, the expectations about the “most beautiful day in lifetime” were even outmatched. This dream wedding like from “1000 and one night” will be kept in good memory not only by the bewedded.

Super laser show with water projection screen in hambourg

In Mai suddenly thunder, lightning and rain gathered inside the chamber of commerce in Hamburg – a thunderstorm of laser in front of a huge water screen. There was really tension in the air at this evening because an innovative middle class company presented its latest innovation to the 500 invited guests.

The completely new developed product completes the broad competence range of the system supplier. Therewith the company does not only revolutionize the market within this division, but also exceeded all expectations with the fulminant laser show and the water wall in Hamburg.

Second show

Bocatec staged for the customer already the company jubilee in 2014. This time the customer wanted an 80 m² water screen for video projections in addition to the impressive laser show. Another challenge for Bocatec: finding the right music for the whole show, cutting and programming it synchronously to the show effects.

After the first claps of thunder and lightnings a 10m wide and 8m high water screen spanned in front of the stage. It was recorded with videos from the backside with three 15.000 ANSI-Lumen video projectors. Five colored and illuminated water fountains shot from the stage up into the air. 13 RGB laser with all together 200W white light power, 6 fog machines, a MGD hazer, 20 sharpys and 8 SGM Q7 flood lights fulminated together with the selected music and got the audience in a flap. Bocatec controlled the whole show via the PHOENIX show controller. The trend-setting product and the futuristic show elements fitted perfectly together and thrilled the spectators of the laser and water show. The customer was very happy about the felicitous market entry.

Openingshow at Pioneer Alpha 2014

The 1st November over 8000 dance-crazy people celebrated on 5 floors in the sports and congrass hall in Schwerin the 30th jubilee of the Pioneer Alpha Festival. Bocatec opened up the biggest indoor event of northern Germany with a fantastic laser show. 50 national and international DJs and Live Acts powered until 8am in the morning.

Opening and Live-Laser-Show

Full-power-color laser projectors in combination with exciting fire and flame effects produced goose bumps atmosphere during the time and sound travel through 15 years of music history. 13 show lasers with around 250W white light power shined syncrounous to the music as laser show through the hall. 8 flamers with up to 7 m high flames and 4 high power CO2 shooters by Magic FX fizzled dramatically over the stage. The light was added by Sebastian Heise alias “LJ Shadow”, he supportet the Bocatec show quite well. Bocatec used its pro fog machines and hazers and wasted 120 liters of fog fluid, 600kg CO2 gas and 25 liter flame gas. Controlled was the whole programmed show via the Phoenix Showcontroller.

Historical Line-Up

Initiator of the Pioneer Alpha, the media consult Eventmanagement and the Ostseewelle HIT-RADIO Mecklenburg-Vorpommern prepared a time travel through music for the guests. The best acts of the last 15 years performed. Full 14 hours long the party crowd experienced electronic music of all styles. FRom modern EDM, House and Deephouse sound over Oldschool Trance, Hardstyle, Hardcore up to Hands Up-Tunes all was in. In the huge main hall techno legends like Westbam, The Disco Boys, as well as the young wild “Gestört aber Geil” and the northern german House Rockerz, the Ostblockschlampen with their hot stage show thrilled the crowd. With the “old” hits” of Live Acts Northern Lite or Brooklyn Bounce the audience traveled back in time.
At 6pm Technoboy, Zany and the Rotterdam Terror Corps Formation started with finest Hardcore sounds. Legends like Tom Novy, Kai Tracid Marusha, Talla 2_XLC as well as Taucher and Mellow Trax continued. Further highlights were the bigger goa area, several drink specials, tombolas and the Pioneer DJ area for the young DJs.

Feedback

Bocatec was happy about the big excitement of the organizer Mike Hasemann. A sea of celebrating and happy party guests enjoyed visibly the music and the multimedia fireworks made by Bocatec.

Gigantic multimedia show for Meet Hamburg 2012

Congress Center Hamburg: BOCATEC sponsored a great multimedia show for the Meet Hamburg 2012. The Meet Hamburg is THE congress of the event industry. With more than 600 participants from all over Germany and 28 famous referents the sector met and upgraded.

With 8 RGB lasers of 1,6 Watt to 14 Watt, impulsive pyro acts and divers moving heads BOCATEC changed the hall G in the Congress Center Hamburg in a sea of laser and light.

The opening procedure became thus the highlight of the congress and assured an imposing and motivating start.

Only few participants and organizers were previously informed about our plan, so the show was really a surprise with WOW effect for everyone.

RTL brings Bocatec into spotlight

On Monday the 23rd January 2012 the team of RTL Nord visited our offices to document our workflow and competences in multimedia projects. RTL followed all steps of a successful event preparation. So our team was joined in different scenarios and surroundings while doing its work.

From the first meeting and the brainstorming over the concept phase and the bid proposal up to the completed presentation at the customer the RTL team filmed us for two days. Hereby we provided our skills and know-how in all areas of the laser-, light- and pyro technics.

Using the example of the opening of the ShipLAS hall of the laser center Nord LZN we sketched at a mutual brainstorming in the team our concept. Boris Bollinger, manager of Bocatec committed himself for the concept in front of the management of the LZN and proved once again his imaginativeness and his negotiating skkills.

Of course Bocatec is nothing without its competent team. Exactly this symbiosis of trained and motivated colleagues is the USP of Bocatec. And so the show was a huge success.

The guests and employees started a thunderous applause, many hadn’t ever seen such a show before. Also the senate of Hamburg liked the show a lot. Hamburger. The evening with the fantastic show was a perfect final with a good preparation.
