Top-class eye candy at Pioneer Alpha 2009

For the 25th jubilee of the Pioneer Alpha-Festivals in Schwerin the offer of highlights was bigger than ever before. Besides dance acts, special light shows and 4 floors where international artists of the electronic music gave their best, Bocatec presented its specially designed laser show and supported the biggest electro festival of north Germany with a laser line-up that is unique in Germany.

More than only lasers…
Bocatec not only moves its laser beams synchronously to the music, but composed own sequences in all colors and color intensities to a wonderful laser show. An eye candy for all guests. On the whole 126 Watt laser power was needed (2x 25 Watt RGB lasers, 2x 15 Watt RGB lasers, 2x 3Watt RGB lasers and 4x 10 Watt Green lasers) made the sports and congress hall glow and supported big artists like Ida Corr, Lexy & K-Paul, Tom Novy, Felix Kröcher, Deepack, Showtek and many more. All together made the crowd dance like crazy. The laser show was programmed with the Laser Software PHOENIX 3. For all who missed the evening, here some impressions.

Bocatec kicks through Blue Goals for the World Championship

During the soccer world championship 2006 the shiny blue goals decorated the cityscape of Hamburg for 4 weeks. As eye-catches the 165 light installations got Hamburg in the mood for the mega event. Every night Bocatec shoot laser beams symbolically onto the goals and hit the mark without end.

165 goals for Hamburg
The Blue Goals lightened up the entire Hamburg because many companies put up their own blue goal. Amongst others the goals shined from the building of ECE project management, the publishing house Gruner + Jahr, the Axel-Springer-building, the airport Hamburg, the central mosque or from the hotel Atlantic. One blue Goal overstretched even the rail tracks of the Hamburg subway near the St. Pauli-gangways, so that the trains of the line „U3“ drove through the goal. The biggest goal with 50 x 80 m was installed by Blohm + Voss at the dry dock. Even the Hamburg Miniature Wonderland put up a mini goal inside its exhibition.

Bocatec kicks and scores
Eight laser locations on the highest buildings and urban emblems of Hamburg were reserved for Bocatec. From these the Bocatec laser experts fired every night from 11pm on for one hour laser beams onto the goals that were up to 4 km distance away. From the Mundsburg towers in the center of Hamburg the lasers reached almost every goal. Thanks to Bocatec Hamburg got countless direct hits. Even inside the famous touristic attraction – the Miniature Wonderland Bocatec installed two lasers for the mini goals and thus delighted the visitors. As special highlight the artist Michael Batz could also control the laser beams via sms himself.

The next world championship will come for sure
The 30th September 2006, after the crazy soccer summer, Hamburg bid solemnly farewell to the lovely blue light goals. After a concert and a firework above the Alster Bocatec looks forward to the next huge event in Hamburg.

Bocatec at the Disco Contact 2009

The 19th and 20th October it’s the time of the year again when the discotheque and event scene meets! Like every year the trade show for club operators, event organizers and other event suppliers takes place in the party temple AURA in Ibbenbühren. The evening before (19.10.) the club itself celebrates its 50th jubilee with a gala evening.

Also Bocatec is there to present our products and services and get into action with customers and partners. We are looking forward to an interesting and exciting day and are curious about the next steps forward in the event business.

Company jubilee with show effect

When the bender gruppe celebrated its 10-year company jubilee in the chamber of commerce in Hamburg, the 450 VIP-guests were really amazed. Solemnly a 6 minute laser-multimedia-show opened the bombastic and unforgettable evening.

The 29. May 2014 the radiology expert invited his 450 best customers and business partners to this high-class event. The bender gruppe supplies radiology stations in medical practices or hospitals e.g. with contrast medium, medical supplies, capital equipment and software. Furthermore bender offers technical, commercial and IT services around radiology. The bende group is active with its 150 employees in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and has more than 4.000 customers. Especially for the opening ceremony of the jubilee-evening Bocatec programed an individual laser show for the innovative company. All combined with uplifting music and additional pyro effects and video fadings.

2 days build up
During the 2 days build up the event professional installed 10 of its most modern laser projectors syestems and 12 Sharpy Movingheads for the suiting light effects. Two CO2 Dominator with 240kg CO2 cared for the right atmosphere and brilliantly visible, colored laser beams. The 24 m² big highspeed screen was projected via a video projector with 2 x 15.000 ANSI-Lumen.

Enthusiasm – the biggest praise!
The efford was really worth it. The bender group was exuberantly happy, having celebrated their 10th anniversary in such an unbeatable way and thanked Bocatec a lot for the professional work.

Laser show tells Chinas history

Since September 2012 the Daming Palace in the Chinese Xi’an is daily the stage or a wonderful and educative laser projection. The laser pictures tell on five big screens the history of the Chinese kingdom to the spectators.

The Daming Palace was built in 634 during the Tang dynasty and was rediscovered 1957 and dig out on the Longshou level land. Back then the archaeological site was the biggest and significant palace complex of the city. Since 1961 the palace is part of the list of the monuments of the people’s republic of china.

Bocatec elaborated all graphic elements for the unique laser show at the historical place. On five around 900 m² big, hydraulic gaze screens (25 x 35m) that have been installed by Bocatec the historical highlights were projected impressively. Bocatec used 2,5 km of glass fiber cable, which shows the size of the show. Besides that, Bocatec implemented 4 10W Piko lasers and 2 20W RGB lasers. Six PHOENIX-network cards controlled the whole show smoothly.

A visit of the national heritage park is really worth it, more than ever with this amazing show. Bocatec feels really honored to present the Chinese history to all visitors of the Daming Palace in such a great form.

Guerilla-Marketing for the Gamescom in Cologne

To put a logo oversized on house fronts, monuments, trees or mountains is always a great and catchy performance. Branding in XXL format reaches not only many eyes but also communicates the brand in a new and surprising way. Bocatec is pleased to realize those mammoth logo projections like this for the Gamescom in Cologne.

In august 2012 five days games, fun and excitement were the focus on the world’s largest trade show for interactive gaming and entertainment. By order of the agency Orange Cube Werbeagentur GmbH Bocatec projected advertising messages of a game producer on the walls at the water front near the Rhine. The dramatic guerilla action took around one hour. Applied were a Piko 14 and the software control Phoenix4 ProPlus show controller. A strong action with big effect, that Bocatec realizes for every brave brand.

Fantastic multimedia show for marriage

A high-altitude firework is not permitted? But you urgently want an imposing highlight?! The perfect alternative comes from Bocatec: a multimedia show! A good example composed Bocatec for a marriage on the Gut Pronstorf. Here we demonstrate once more how a perfect laser show let the feelings of happiness bubble up.

For the emotional show several laser projectors were applied (4x green, 4x RTI PIKO RGB 4, 1 x RTI Piko RGB 14, 1 x RTI Piko RGB 8), a bombastic fireworks on the ground with gold-silver fountains, 10 gold fountains and 8 Bengali fires. 20 Sharpy moving heads cared for the suiting light effects via W-DMX. Furthermore 8 fog machines, hazer including wind machines and 4 1500W stroboscopes were used. For the music we installed a PA unit with 4KW. For the software control of light, laser and pyrotechnics we applied the Phoenix4 ProPlus show controller with 7 Phoenix network cards.

Surfer astonished in front of water wall

On a warm late summer evening in September the water skiers and surfers at the Neuländer Lake were amazed. On their leisure time lake suddenly a 12 meter high and 30 meter wide water wall towered on the middle of the lake. Bocatec showed there together with its Partner Company Phoenix Show controller GmbH & Co. KG what is possible in terms of water projection nowadays.

The huge, reflecting water shield produced not only a surprising atmosphere but served also as an ideal projection surface for graphics, animated pictures and films. All this is just possible through the show and laser software Phoenix4. The interaction of water screen, RGB laser light and beamer (Eiki 15000 ANSI Lumen) results in extremely sharp graphics and color intensive pictures. Bocatec presented to the astonished water athletes what can be projected onto water. No matter if the presentation of company logos, a large-area photo show, an open air cinema or public-viewing on the lake in an extraordinary surrounding, projections on the water screen leave always a special and long-lasting impression. The ideal location for such a show is of course a waterski center like at the Neuländer See. If the weather is fine and the audience is relaxed after a long summer and surf day, the show on the water shield is the highlight of a perfect day.
